Going solar generally means using solar
energy to generate electricity. However, it does not mean that you use ONLY
solar generated power. Depending on your budget and solar provider's
recommendation, you can use different solar installation configurations to
generate solar power.
Going 100% solar for your
home means?
Going
100% solar can be interpreted in more than one way. First, note that to get solar
electricity to run appliances, solar panels can be connected in different
ways.
- 100%
solar may mean using only solar electricity and not being connected with
regular grid supply at all. This type of installation is called off-grid
solar power system.
- Going
100% solar may also mean grid connected system but sourced from a solar
power plant. This is called on-grid or grid tied solar power installation.
